Only ate in the restaurant (didn't camp) but loved it! Went there every night.

We were actually staying in a nearby campsite but our host recommended the restaurant at Camping Bel Air and we were not disappointed. This family run eatery (complete with adorable dog called Jess I think) was welcoming, friendly and extremely tasty.
Firstly they were very accommodating and spoke... great English, secondly they were able to provide plenty of options for me even though I'm a vegetarian, one night I had tasty breaded Camembert with fries and salad while my husband had a small platter which included meat, cheese, olives onion rings and fries. The food was so great we ended up eating there every night of our stay. The beer was refreshing (Jupiler) and welcomed after some adventurous days canyoning and canoeing. Another night we had pizza and if memory serves they had an outdoor covered pizza oven area.
Also included on the menu were burgers and plenty of meat options for my husband. One night I fancied something different so asked whether they could do a pasta dish without the meat and they were able to do that and it was delicious.
The family who appeared to own the site were also really lovely, they recognised us after a couple of visits and gave us a complimentary drink from the bar after our dinner which was lovely.
Also please note, our trip was June 2018 (not 2019) but I have only just gotten around to adding my review and can't go back that far. We are planning to visit the area again in 2020 and we will definitely be visiting Camping Bel Air once again.
